Novi-based Company Employees Compete In the Talmer Bank Detroit Free Press Marathon to Support Team in Training

NOVI, MI – Since 2008, BrassCraft Manufacturing employees have dedicated themselves to serving the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Raising funds through bake sales, silent auctions, jeans days and participating in the marathon, half marathon and 5K run. Employees join the LLS Team in Training fundraising program to raise money for a good cause and to train together for the endurance races over several months.

Fund Raising for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society“I was running for my own health reasons, and happened on a Team in Training group,” said Josh Jaime, captain of BrassCraft’s Team in Training. “Once I found out what Team in Training was all about it was easy to join and recruit my fellow employees. I was running anyway, so why not put my time to a worthy cause and have fun doing it!”

This year BrassCraft Mfg. employees and family members raised $53,000 for LLS. Since 2008, BrassCraft employees have raised, with the company matching funds and grants, over $312,000.
